In our spare time my wife and I enjoy making homemade wines and liqueurs. While we don't sell any of the wines, it's fun to experiment using the wide variety of fruits and (gasp!) vegetables available to us. We've had pretty good luck with most of the ones we've tried and some are quite tasty! It's a great exercise in ingenuity and reminds us of our ties to the land. Each year we try to add some new kind of fruit plant to our yard so we'll have many more interesting fruits with which to create tempting wines.

Yearly we host a wine-tasting event for our friends and family to sample our wines and bring others (homemade or commercial) for all to sample with mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres for palate cleansing. Traditionally we have a wine quiz for tasters to guess what kind each is made from.

We're proud of what we make and have fun making it.
