We finished our discussion on the roles of the Naturalist, Mohists, and Logicians on the development of science.
We then discussed the main ideas behind Chinese science: The 5 element theory, the Theory of Two Forces (Yin/Yang) and I Ching.
Day 23,Wed, November 5
We finished our discussion on the roles of the mystics and the skeptics on Chinese Science. Finally, we summarized the possible role of the concept of Law in West and East and how they influenced the rise of science.
The rest of the class was devoted to student presentations of Chapt 2 in Kaptchuk's book, The Web That Has No Weaver.
