Pollen: Pre & Post Lab Assignments

 

PreLab:

  1. Print & read copies of the Pollen Count Lab exercise.  Bring your copy to lab.

Post Lab:

  1. Completed sketches of pine, grass and ragweed pollen (Figures 1-3)
  2. Tables 1 & 2, completed on a separate sheet of paper
  3. Based on the the type of pollen present in your count, when you do you think your sample was collected?  Explain.
  4. Is your count high or low?  Would your count be problematic for someone with hay fever?  Explain.
