Integrative Essay
- Describe three examples[4]
in which you have been Pavlovianly Conditioned. Try
to come up with fairly unique and significant examples rather
than one like "salivating when Mommy says its dinner time."
Label all of the relevant components of the example (e.g.- CR,
UCS). Make at least one of your examples involve an aversive UCS and one an appetitive UCS. One of your
examples should be one that has gone through the process of
extinction.
- Your little brother, who is in the seventh grade, has just
found out that you are taking Tom Creed's course on
conditioning, and reputations being what they are, he now
considers you an expert on the topic of Pavlovian Conditioning.
As such, he wants you to come into his seventh grade class and
tell him and his classmates what Pavlovian Conditioning is all
about. Give the text (approximately one page) of your
speech.
