Our goals for the workshop are that you will:

  1. learn about current work and thinking on classroom assessment, specifically TechnoCATs;

  2. understand the potential of TechnoCATs for improving teaching and student learning;

  3. be able to use synchronous TechnoCATs such as the Perception Analyzer;

  4. be able to use a "threaded discussion" as an asynchronous TechnoCAT;

  5. be able to use the Current Student Inventory as an asynchronous TechnoCAT;

  6. be able to design your own TechnoCATs;

  7. have learned about new TechnoCATs from your colleagues.
