This web site gives you the opportunity to preview (and, after the conference, to review) the information for our session, which will look at how technology can be used to extend classroom assessment techniques.

In the frame to the left, we have provided some links for our session. The first, Workshop goals, lists what we hope you will take away from the session. TechnoCATs schedule gives a brief outline of our session.

Next comes a set of links to the virtual "handouts" that we'll be using during sessions. We probably won't have time to use all of them, but they will be here if you want to look at them later. We're planning on our session being (almost) paperless, so "handouts" isn't exactly accurate, but we couldn't come up with a better name for them--back in the dark ages (last month), we would have actually photocopied all of these and distributed them at the workshop. We'll see how this works.

Next comes a link to Tom's course that uses TechnoCATs, then some links to articles/chapters on technology that we've written recently, if you're interested in a little background on TechnoCATs.

The last link is to The Virtual Companion, a website with links to several examples of TechnoCATs for those who want to do some exploring of this technology. The site is provided by The National Teaching and Learning Forum.
