When visiting other countries, its really important to partake in the culture as much as possible. Language is clearly a major barrier, especially when visiting China. To be respectful of their culture, and to increase our own fun, we all need to learn and use a few Chinese phrases. Professor Jainbo Liu of Southwest China Normal University in Beibei has kindly recorded a number of phrases, which should prove to be very useful. Please practice these phrases so we can be up and running when we hit the runway in Beijing. Each phrase has been converted to a Real Audio (RA) file and a .wav file. One of these files should work with your internet browser. Good luck.
