Here's our Itinerary!

Flight availabilities in May may change this itinerary slightly.

Picture yourself landing in one of Europe's most magnificent capital cities, settling into a student hotel right in the center of the city and taking in the wonders of German culture.  Within the first couple days you will explore the splendors of Baroque art and architecture -- palaces, fountains, grand parks, the Berlin Cathedral -- and discuss how this architectural form came to be and the political purposes it served.  Picture yourself learning about the initial thrill of the Third Reich, its political program and its architecture, including the concentration camp of Sachsenhausen, just north of Berlin city.  About half way through this seminar we will turn our attention to the rise of West German Democracy and East German Communism and the radically different artistic expressions each government endorsed.  Finally, we will explore some of the most wonderful art and architecture of our times -- a time of German reunification and unprecedented European cooperation.  Here is our itinerary.  Join us for the trip of your life!
