The amount of soda consumption has doubled since 1970 and milk consumption has decreased by 7%.
Chicken intake has risen, however, much of the chicken consumed is fried.
Beef and eggs consumption has decreased about 20%.
Snacks, such as, crackers, popcorn, pretzles, and corn chips increased 200%.
The overall fruit and vegetable intake has increased to 3.6/day. Potatoes made into French fries contributes to the increase.
