Spring Plant & Seed Exchange

Each year, in the spring (usually in mid-May), the St. John's Community Garden Society sponsors a one-day plant and seed exchange.

How does it work?

On a designated date and time, we bring the plants or seeds we want to exchange and we exchange them. Very simple.

We've had everything from houseplants to whole flats of herbs to vegetable plants to some pretty impressively sized perennials.

Any leftovers are then available for sale at $1 each (or less) to anyone interested in them.

Any proceeds raised provides funding for on-campus activities such as our spring seed ordering.

If you're interested in participating or in buying some of the leftovers, please contact the group chairman for more information.
