Welcome to Sprue University! Admission is open to any and all, tuition is free, and you'll never get a call from alumni affairs asking for money. Sprue U aims to help new model builders get started in the hobby, as well as help more-experienced builders improve their skills.

I've been building models, off and on, for over thirty years. In that time I've progressed from the "tube-glue" stage (and the closely-related "paint it whatever colors you have on hand" stage) to something resembling modeling maturity -- if striving to make a model resemble the original as closely as possible defines 'maturity.'
